Venue

The workshop and the school will take place at ENS de Lyon, Monod site, which is located 46 Allée d'Italie, between the Place des Pavillons and the Halle Tony Garnier exhibition centre Access.Please note that on monday 27th june, the workshop will take place at ENS de Lyon, Descartes site. The René Descartes site is located 15 parvis René Descartes, at the intersection of Avenue Jean Jaurès and Avenue Debourg.

The ENS de Lyon is situated in the Gerland area of the 7th district of Lyon, near the Pont Pasteur bridge on the left bank of the Rhône.

From the Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport
Take the Rhône Express Shuttle from the airport to the Part-Dieu rail station. From the Lyon Part-Dieu train station, take the Porte Rhône exit of the train station, then take the subway (line B) in the direction of the Gare d'Oullins station. Get off at the Debourg stop. Then follow this way to come to the ENS Monod.

From the Lyon Part-Dieu rail station
Take the Vivier Merle exit of the rail station, then take the subway, line B towards Gare d’Oullins. Get off at the "Debourg" stop. Then follow this way to come to the ENS Monod.

From the Lyon Perrache rail station
Take the tramway T1 towards Debourg. Get off at the "ENS de Lyon" stop. Then follow this way.

Lyon

The city is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lyon was historically known as an important area for the production and weaving of silk. The city contains a significant software industry with a particular focus on video games, and in recent years has fostered a growing local start-up sector.^[6] Lyon hosts the international headquarters of Interpol, Euronews, and International Agency for Research on Cancer. Lyon was ranked 19th globally and second in France for innovation in 2011.^[7] It ranked second in France and 39th globally in Mercer's 2015 liveability rankings.
